So I suspect a 'switch' between the 'high performance' and 'low performance' graphics card is 'one too many' hardware changes that then requires an activation.I found out about this problem when I was travelling and stuck in an airport for 5 hours and needed to use my laptop: with limited options, I ended up 'activating' Office again over the internet. I suspect that Office 2007 'counts' the number of hardware differences since original activation because I didn't have this problem until after I replaced one of the hard disks in my laptop RAID 0 array and upgraded to 16GB RAM (2 significant hardware changes). Hi - I have an HP Envy 17 laptop with 2 built-in graphics cards. When I switch to battery power, Office 2007 prompts me to reactivate.
